The 60th Anniversary of a Coronation
Today is the 60th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. You don't have to be a Royalist to appreciate the historical significance of this occasion.
Few people, common or Royal, have devoted their lives to the service of their country. The Queen has served her kingdom for over 60 years. Her commitment deserves our respect and gratitude. Long live the Queen!

My mum and sister ( who was 3 at the time) were in the crowd to watch her go by. An historic day then and today 60 years later.
